In 2023, Hutchies Modular opened our new state of the art production yard in Newcastle. A whole year has passed already, and this bustling prefabrication hub has already put themselves on the map as a key provider of prefabricated buildings across the southern states of Australia and boosting the capacity of our well established yards in Toowoomba and Yatala.
Our specialisation spans a diverse range of sectors, including essential health care infrastructure, emergency services facilities, educational spaces, transport hubs, and residential communities. Hutchies’ dedicated modular division is a leader in off site construction, backed by the reputation of Australia’s largest privately owned construction company. This provides our clients with unwavering stability, quality and a track record in delivering projects of varying scales and geographic locations.
Hutchies Modular has carved out a niche in custom construction solutions that push boundaries of traditional modular building and generates value both in the short and long term. We’ve developed a range of innovative design, engineering and construction techniques that resolve previous challenges with certain modular applications such as fire safety certifications on large scale modular buildings, and managing complex expansions and interface within established precincts.
JoanneGill,QueenslandHealthAs the first modular hospital in Queensland [Moura Community Hospital], the facility is a pilot project for Queensland Health designed and developed by Hutchies using the unique design and construction. The hospital has a state of the art emergency department, two modern inpatient beds, short-stay treatment bay and outpatient treatment facilities.
