Hutchinson Builders is top privately-owned construction company in Queensland

Hutchinson Builders took out top spot in the Construction & Development category of the 2009 Q400 Awards presented as part of a gala event presented at the Sofitel Hotel Brisbane on Friday 30 October 2009.
Notably, ‘Hutchies’ retained 2nd spot in the 2009 Q400 list overall in an environment of slowing economic growth that undoubtedly impacted the construction sector from late 2008.
Managing Director Greg Quinn said that the past year had dictated the need for ‘Hutchies’ to focus on moving into new markets, consolidating existing business partnerships and developing strategies that enhanced the company’s reach.
A key element of the strategic growth Hutchies is seeking to further nurture emerging relationships with industry and government in NSW, VIC, SA, NT and TAS Greg Quinn added.
