Project Overview
The project in Doncaster, in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, consisted of 3 levels of commercial offices with one level of basement car park. The site was an old service station site and therefore significant contamination issues needed to be resolved as part of the construction process. Contaminated ground works had to be excavated and removed to EPA standards and scientific modelling had to be completed for potential impact on the underground water stream that ran through the site. The $10M project is an example of the D&C capabilities of Hutchinson Builders and was completed in September 2008.
