Hutchies is seeking a motivated and organised Office Administrator to become an integral part of our Sydney team in a fulltime permanent role.

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office while also handling reception duties.

As the Office Administrator your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and manage daily office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Provide high level administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and organising travel arrangements
  • Handle phone enquiries and provide accurate information
  • Processing outgoing and incoming mail
  • Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics and catering
  • Maintain and track inventory of office supplies and equipment
  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring a neat and welcoming environment
  • Handle general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Manage office access and security, including visitor badges and access codes
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, visitors, and internal staff
  • Relay important messages and information promptly and accurately
  • Coordinate celebrations, outings, and team building activities as the key point person for social initiatives
  • Manage defect administration and registers


To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education is a plus
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
  • A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
