Hutchies is proud to announce a win at the 2025 Master Builders Tasmania Awards, held over the weekend.

Our Pressing Matters Cellar Door project took home the award for the New Construction $2 – 5 million category, recognising the team’s outstanding work and commitment to quality.

A huge congratulations to the crew who accepted the award on the night, especially Amelia Sutton (Contract Administrator), Drew Cole (Site Manage), Nick Silcox (Team Leader), and our project sponsor.

This win speaks to the skill and collaboration that makes Hutchies ‘Hutchies’. We’re thrilled to see our work in Tasmania recognised at this level.

Located in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, Pressing Matters is a multi-award-winning winery set on a picturesque hillside. Hutchies delivered a purpose-designed winemaking facility that includes a stunning new cellar door experience, advanced production areas such as a fermenting room, barrel room and laboratory, as well as staff offices and amenities. The project also involved refurbishing the onsite residence.

Despite a tight timeframe and rising labour and material costs, the team successfully completed the project in time for the 2022 grape harvest, ensuring the cool room was ready when it mattered most.
