Hutchies’ own Jackson “Jacko” Munn recently completed one of Australia’s toughest endurance challenges – the Coast to Kosciuszko Ultra Marathon.
Starting at Eden on the NSW South Coast and finishing at the summit of Mt Kosciuszko, Jacko ran an incredible 241 kilometres in 42 hours and 10 minutes. The course spans rugged terrain and climbs to Australia’s highest peak – testing every bit of stamina and grit.
Jacko is now the youngest ever competitor to finish the race – a milestone that cements his place in the event’s history. And next year, you bet he's coming for the win.

When he’s not running ultra marathons, Jacko is an apprentice carpenter with Mitch Grimmer’s team at Hutchies Toowong – bringing the same grit and commitment to every project.
The Coast to Kosci Ultra is known as one of the most gruelling endurance events in the country. It demands not just physical strength, but serious mental resilience. Jacko’s effort shows the kind of perseverance and commitment we value at Hutchies.
Congrats, Jacko, your determination is a powerful reminder of what we’re capable of.
