Over the two year D&C period of Energex NMO in the Circa Nundah Precinct, I genuinely found the approach of Hutchinson Builders both positive and constructive. The quality of the building product and their approach to all elements of the build were of an extremely high standard, which was driven by a strong professional and project focus. Hutchies’ experience and engaged approach to the project resulted in tangible and viable solutions allowing the project to maintain momentum. In particular I was impressed with their ability to accommodate scope changes within the boundaries of an aggressive timetable. This overall approach helped foster a level of trust and productive working dynamic within the project team.

Circa Nundah Village precinct is a cluster of mixed use buildings that create a new transit oriented development - one of the first such initiatives in Brisbane. The plan combines commercial, retail and residential elements within an integrated public arena, while interfacing with the transport hub and surrounding community.
Developed by our long-standing client Property Solutions and designed by Arkhefield, this beautiful project includes 186 one and two bedroom apartments across two residential towers with integrated retail and commercial spaces. Circa Nundah has become one of Brisbane’s most successful urban revitalisation projects.
The development is also home to Energex’s Northern Metropolitan Office (called Nundah NMO), an eight storey 5 Star Green Star rated building, which was the first to be completed in the precinct.
The new buildings are strongly interconnected yet clearly distinct, optimising amenity, accessibility and privacy. A series of external spaces create opportunities for outdoor dining and public use, while encompassing the entry to each building.
In response to its success, Circa Nundah has won a series of awards, including most recently the prestigious Urban Renewal Award from UDIA Queensland.
