Hutchies is honoured to have worked with Benevolent Living to bring their Rhythms of Life project to life in Rockhampton. This significant expansion and refurbishment to their existing community has created new opportunities for residents and welcome new members to their growing seniors living precinct.

Stage one of the works included the construction of a new state of the art residential care building which includes one bedroom apartments for married couples, as well as the complete refurbishment of the current reception area and coffee shop. The second stage of construction welcomed a new 5 storey building comprising of 40 independent living apartments.

With a unique arts themed focus, Benevolent's community offers seniors a totally integrated health, wellness and living solution. Designed around the 'ageing in place' model, Benevolent provides a continuum of care for residents at any stage of their life with independent living through to residential care, as well as respite, dementia, high and palliative care.

Construction of this exciting project was a huge boost to the local Rockhampton community with around 400 jobs secured across the region. Hutchies has had a long established presence in Central Queensland, and this redevelopment is a wonderful project to be involved in.
