Spanning an impressive 22-hectare site, the landmark precinct is being delivered under the Department of Education's Building Future Schools program. Hutchies is working in partnership with the Queensland Government's capital infrastructure delivery agency, Major Projects, within the Department of Housing and Public Works.

Construction is continuing at pace ahead of the schools opening for the start of the 2027 school year. The new schools are among the first five of 22 new schools being delivered across Queensland to help meet growing demand in rapidly expanding communities.

What makes this project particularly special is that future students are already helping shape the schools they'll soon call their own. Through consultation with local students, families and community members, young people have contributed to decisions including the high school's name and the types of elective subjects they would like to study.

The new Corymbia Reserve State High School will support the growing communities of Logan Reserve, Chambers Flat and Corymbia, while helping relieve enrolment pressure on surrounding schools. Beside it, Ridgeview Special School will expand educational opportunities for students with disability across the Logan region.

Our project team broke ground early to prepare the site and accelerate delivery. The drone footage tells the story best. Earth movers, excavators, trucks and crews are working across the vast site every day, transforming open land into a future-focused learning environment.
