Hutchies partnered with Onefin to deliver Plaîs Early Learning – a purpose-built childcare centre in Brisbane’s Camp Hill that reimagines early education through thoughtful design and strong community connection.

Overlooking the Brisbane skyline from Old Cleveland Road, the architecturally designed centre blends inspiring design with playful learning. It features three levels of innovative spaces, including a rooftop playground, water play, hopscotch track, and thoughtfully crafted areas that nurture imaginative play and curiosity-driven learning.

Completed in just 34 weeks, the centre showcases Hutchies’ commitment to quality, collaboration and care in the education sector. It provides a warm, engaging environment for children and educators, with spaces tailored to support learning, play and wellbeing.

Hutchies provided full design and construct services, aligning the build with Plaîs’ approach to learning through relationships and discovery. Every detail was considered to realise this bespoke education facility – from flexible indoor spaces to nature-connected outdoor zones – creating a place where children feel safe, inspired and free to explore.

Plaîs is more than a childcare centre – it’s a place where children feel safe, supported and inspired in their formative years. Parents are already saying it feels like a second home, thanks to its nurturing atmosphere that fosters strong relationships and a deep sense of belonging.
