Hutchies partnered with the Department of Education to deliver major infrastructure upgrades at Walloon State School, helping create contemporary learning environments that support long-term student growth and evolving educational needs. 

The project included the construction of a new General Learning Centre featuring flexible learning spaces, staff work areas, amenities and lift access across multiple levels. Additional works involved the relocation and replacement of outdoor facilities to improve functionality and enhance the school environment. 

For the project team, delivering the new facilities was a rewarding experience, made even better by the opportunity to work closely with the school community.

Delivered within a live school setting, the project was carefully staged to maintain safe and uninterrupted operations throughout construction. Working closely with school leaders, departmental representatives and key stakeholders, Hutchies delivered a modern, future-focused facility for current and future students. 

Hutchies is proud to have played a part in this chapter of the school’s growth.
