The new modular Allied Health Building in Charleville replaces a former nurses’ accommodation block that had sat vacant for more than ten years. The project is transforming access to healthcare for almost 3,000 local residents. The building formed part of a concurrent regional package, delivered alongside projects in Morven and St George.
Built at Hutchies’ modular yard in Yatala, the facility was constructed from 21 prefabricated modules. The modules were transported 761 kilometres to Charleville and installed in a single day. The team delivered the project in just 13 weeks from start to finish. This fast-tracked approach ensured improved healthcare services were available to the community without delay.

The new facility includes dedicated rehabilitation spaces and specialised allied health rooms for physiotherapy, podiatry, and child health. It also provides work areas for up to 22 company members, including office space, lunch rooms, and amenities.
Delivered under the Queensland Government’s Building Rural and Remote Health Program, the Charleville Community and Allied Health Building is designed to meet AusHFG standards and support the evolving healthcare needs of the region for years to come.
