This state-of-the-art emergency department expansion at the busy Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) was designed, built, installed and commissioned rapidly to assist with surge capacity during COVID-19.

Hutchies managed the entire process from start to finish in just 12 weeks, and almost instantly boosted the emergency bed and outpatient care capacity at this critical South East Queensland hospital. All works were undertaken without any disruption to the fully operational hospital functions
