The Bunnings Trade Centre at Metroplex Wacol is a specialised facility designed to support commercial tradespeople, builders, and project teams with high volume, trade-quality products and services. Unlike standard Bunnings Warehouses, Trade Centres focus on bulk supply and efficiency, offering rapid quoting, estimating, and delivery services for electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and build needs.

This project marks Hutchies’ 15th collaboration with Bunnings, reflecting a long-standing relationship built on trust and delivery excellence.

The Metroplex Wacol location includes a purpose-built warehouse and fitout tailored to tailored to these trade-specific operations, supporting streamlined logistics and onsite fulfillment for professional clients. Delivered through a staged approach, the project began with significant site preparation works by Hutchies Civil for the Barracks at Metroplex project, valued at $36 million, followed by the $20 million base build of the warehouse, and concluding with a $3 million internal fitout tailored for trade centre operations.
