Hutchies is seeking a 4D Construction Modeller to join our Toowong, QLD team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based in Brisbane, with some travel required to other Hutchies offices as needed.

#Responsibilities

As a 4D Construction Modeller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Using industry standard software to develop 4D Modelling presentations for tender submissions
  • Collaborate with our tender teams across Australia to provide tender schedule integrations with available 3d architectural models
  • Work closely with Hutchies Construction Planning team or consultants to provide iterative feed back to our tender schedules
  • Help to identify clashes, sequencing issues, and buildability risks through 4D model reviews
  • Preparing reports, animations, and visual outputs to communicate construction methodology clearly to stakeholders
  • Supporting tender submissions with 2d staging diagrams, and methodology planning
  • Work up base 3d models from 2d documentation were IFC models are not available

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with 3d modelling software (any/Revit)
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in a building‑related role
  • Experience with BIM, IFC models
  • Drafting experience with an interest to learn and grow skills (advantageous but not required)
  • Experience with Navis, Synchro or CM3 (advantageous)
  • Exposure to 4d Modelling in construction (advantageous but not required)
  • Construction scheduling experience (advantageous but not required)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and show initiative when working independently
  • A down to earth, friendly, and professional approach to your work
  • Open to limited travel to Hutchies Offices as required
