Hutchies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our hardworking team based at our Toowong office on a fulltime, permanent basis.
You’ll play an important role in supporting the success of our Communications and Marketing initiatives. In this Communications Support role, you’ll be a key contributor to the company’s overall success.
We’ll help you grow your skills in content creation and management, while you assist in delivering a wide range of creative projects.
You’ll support the team in producing engaging graphic design, animation, video, and photography—contributing to internal and external promotional materials, training resources, knowledge sharing, campaigns, projects, people focused initiatives, and events.

#Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Team Support
- Support the Communications Team with any day-to-day tasks as required, including administration, filing, coordination, events, travel, bookings etc
- Maintain Hutchies’ libraries of content, including data, copy, audio, photography, video, CVs, and collateral
- Digitise and catalogue Hutchies’ archives and historical records to build on the company’s history
- Maintain excellent records in various tools of people, projects, events, and any other areas necessary to provide consistent information across the company
- Work with various internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to capture and promote what Hutchies does
Content Support
- Implement Hutchies’ branding consistently and creatively
- Assist in the creation of content that supports Hutchies’ marketing efforts across digital and print
- Assist in the development of an archive guide for capturing Hutchies’ history
- Assist in the development of a content style guide to standardise Hutchies’ way and support content creators in consistency
Production Support
- Support the creation and maintenance of engaging visual content across graphics, animation, video, and photography
- Identify opportunities to continuously develop skills and improve the process, content, production, and format (eg 3D)
- Work closely with stakeholders to stay informed on key events and activities to capture and promote
#Position Attributes
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of tools required to perform the role. These may include:
- Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Design & Content Platforms – Canva, Figma, Moho
