Hutchies is seeking a proactive, capable, and down to earth HSE Administrator to join our Toowoomba, QLD team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will support our HSE team and play an important role in assisting with day to day operations, helping ensure the function runs smoothly.

#Responsibilities
As a HSE Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide day to day administrative support to the HSE team
- Maintain HSE documentation, registers, and electronic filing systems
- Assist with onboarding and induction administration, including:
- Collection and verification of licences, competencies and training records
- Uploading documentation into HSE management systems
- Support incident, hazard, and near miss reporting processes, including:
- Data entry and record management
- Tracking actions and close out status
- Assist with preparation of HSE reports, dashboards, and audit documentation
- Coordinate training records, refresher requirements, and competency tracking
- Support internal and external audits by preparing evidence and documentation
- Assist with distribution and control of HSE communications, alerts, and toolbox materials
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and external providers as required
- General administrative duties including meeting minutes, correspondence, and data management
- Organising calibration & servicing of company equipment
#Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role (HSE, construction, or other regulated industries preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confidence managing documentation and data across multiple systems
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and show initiative when working independently
- A proactive and professional approach when engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
