Hutchies is seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to be based in our Coolangatta office. This is not a traditional site based Contract Administrator role. Instead, the position focuses on providing hands on support across contract and commercial administration, including documentation, compliance, and record management.
The role would suit someone early in their career or currently studying Law, Construction Management, or a related discipline, and offers flexibility around hours and working arrangements depending on the candidate.

#Responsibilities
As a Junior Contract Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with preparation, review, and administration of contracts and related documentation
- Supporting variations, subcontract agreements, deeds, and correspondence and assisting in resolution of disputes
- Maintaining contract registers, records, and filing systems
- Assisting with compliance checks and document control
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure contract documentation is accurate and up to date
- Providing general administrative support on contract and commercial matters
#Requirements
We’re open to a range of backgrounds and would love to hear from you if you are:
- Studying or recently graduated in Law, Construction Management, or a related field
- An administrator or junior CA looking to build experience in contract support
You'll also bring:
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed organisational skills
- An interest in construction contracts and commercial processes
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative when working independently
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- A proactive and professional approach when engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
