Hutchies is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join our Toowong team on a full time, permanent basis. You will help design and deliver learning programs, create high quality materials, configure LMS pathways and ensure our programs stay effective and relevant.

#Responsibilities

As the Learning & Development Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

Learning Development & Implementation

  • Develop learning materials including facilitator guides, learner resources, assessments and eLearning modules
  • Apply instructional design principles to ensure training content is engaging, practical and aligned with learning outcomes
  • Configure learning pathways, courses and learning plans within the LMS
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of learning content
  • Pilot learning programs and refine materials based on feedback from learners and stakeholders
  • Maintain and update learning resources to ensure they remain current with industry practices, legislation and organisational requirements

Training Data Analysis & Program Evaluation

  • Analyse training reports and learning data to identify trends, gaps and potential capability risks
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using completion data, learner feedback and engagement metrics
  • Monitor indicators of training participation, engagement and capability development
  • Provide insights and reports to the L&D Manager on training impact and program performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning programs based on evidence and data analysis
  • Support continuous improvement of the learning portfolio through data driven recommendations

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Learning & Development, Training & Assessment, Education, HR, or a related discipline
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, including learning and development, training coordination, or instructional design
  • Experience developing learning resources, training materials, and eLearning content
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience analysing training data and learning metrics
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design practices
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Suite, Articulate Rise, Storyline, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and show initiative when working independently
  • Strong stakeholder relationship building skills
  • A down to earth, friendly, fun, and professional approach to work
