Hutchies is seeking a proactive, capable, and down to earth Office Manager & Team Support to join our Cairns team.
This is a hands on, all rounder role suited to someone who enjoys running an office, supporting a senior leader, and being the go to person who keeps everything moving. Due to the size of the office, this role will include reception and day to day office duties, as well as administrative support to the Team Leader.
This is not a role for someone who is precious about task boundaries, it is ideal for an experienced office professional who is happy to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of the office environment.

#Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the office, while also providing high level administrative and PA style support to the Team Leader.
Office Management & Reception
- Manage the day to day running of the office, including reception duties
- Greet clients, visitors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Answer and direct phone enquiries
- Maintain office presentation, meeting rooms, kitchen and amenities
- Manage couriers, mail, freight and deliveries
- Coordinate scheduled and reactive office maintenance
- Manage stationery, office supplies and amenities
Team Leader Support
- Provide direct administrative support to the Team Leader
- Diary management, meeting coordination and preparation
- Assist with correspondence, reports and documentation
- Arrange business travel, accommodation and logistics as required
- Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholder
Administration & Business Support
- Support the broader team with general administration
- Assist with onboarding of new starters
- Manage registers, records and office documentation
- Assist with timesheets, expenses, petty cash and reimbursements
- Support office events, team activities and social initiatives
- Provide ad hoc support as required, no two days will be the same
#Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator or similar role
- A practical, can do attitude, happy to handle both senior support and day to day office tasks
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
- Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
- A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
