• Lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, planning, delivery, and close‑out, ensuring they are completed, safely on time, on budget, and to Hutchies’ quality expectations
• Develop, monitor, and manage project programs, budgets, procurement strategies, and resource allocation to keep projects running smoothly
• Build strong relationships and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain alignment and momentum
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legislation, building codes, safety requirements, and Hutchies’ internal systems
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, variations, delays, and scope changes, implementing practical solutions to keep projects on track
• Oversee contract negotiations, subcontractor engagement, and the preparation, review, and administration of all project documentation
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, support site teams, and uphold Hutchies’ standards of safety and workmanship
• Prepare and present accurate project reporting, including cost tracking, progress updates, and performance insights, to the Team Leader and broader leadership
• Have previous experience in, and can continue to train and mentor Contract Administrators, supporting their growth and development
• Can confidently manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
• Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
• Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
• A down-to-earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
