Hutchies is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dedicated team in Central QLD. This full-time, permanent role will be based out of our Rockhampton office, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of impactful projects in the region.

#Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and inspire project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment
  • Apply your construction expertise to oversee all phases of project delivery, from planning to handover
  • Drive a culture of accountability and collaboration across your team
  • Monitor quality standards and proactively address emerging issues to ensure compliance and excellence
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and identifying key drivers of project success

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Trade qualifications (highly regarded) and/or tertiary education in Construction Management or Engineering (not essential).
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the construction industry, particularly on projects up to $25M
  • Strong knowledge of construction specific legislation and Codes of Practice
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
  • Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
  • A down to earth, friendly and professional approach to your work
