Hutchies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Site Manager to join our hard-working Brisbane team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will be site-based, with locations varying depending on project requirements.

#Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- On site management of, subcontractors, plant equipment and materials
- Planning and programming of the works including coordination of suppliers, other consultants, subbies, labour, surveyors, testers, etc
- Safety inductions, site supervision, and compliance in accordance with the safety plan
- Setout and coordination of the surveyor
- Quality control, testing, position checking, etc
- Provision of technical services e.g. Resolution of design issues
- Take ownership of any additional tasks required to ensure the successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery of the project—while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and clients
- Operate a range of site equipment—including water carts, rollers, excavators, pozie-tracks/bobcats, and graders—to support construction crews and ensure smooth project delivery
#Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated experience in a similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction specific legislation and Codes of Practice
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
- Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
- A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
- White Card & a current Queensland driver’s licence (essential)
