Hutchies took out two awards and a high commendation at AIB's 2019 Queensland Professional Excellence Awards on Friday 14 June.

Our Brissie team lead by Russell Fryer received the Commercial Construction: $1 million to $25 million Professional Excellence Award for their exceptional work creating the Wesley Specialist Centre in Auchenflower. This health centre was designed to ease pressure on the Wesley Hospital and provide additional suites for the surgeons and specialists operating out the Hospital.

Grant LeBoutillier and the Levi Corby team were awarded a Professional Excellence Award for their delivery of Ripley Town Centre, a new master-planned neighbourhood precinct. The first stage of the regional centre spans more than 9,400m² and consists of accredited green star shopping including 20 speciality stores with major tenants Coles supermarket and liquor giant BWS, as well as a medical centre, cafes, and three commercial upper floor office areas.

Our work on Howard Smith Wharves, lead by John Berlese, Tim Ferguson and Joey Cassin was also recognised with a High Commendation in the Commercial Construction ($50M+) category.

Hutchies has a long track record of being recognised at the AIB Professional Excellence Awards and we're extremely proud with the results. We look forward to the National Awards held later this year!
