Celebrating six wins for Hutchies’ teams at the 2026 Master Builders Queensland Housing and Construction Awards.
The awards recognise projects spanning commercial, community, education, retail and health sectors. They build on regional Master Builders success already achieved by Hutchies teams throughout 2026.

The projects represent work delivered right across Queensland.
205 North Quay is a 37-level commercial tower in Brisbane led by John Berlese's team. Library+ Caloundra transformed the former Caloundra Council Chamber into a new community hub and achieved a 6 Star Green Star rating.
Michael White's team delivered Plaîs Early Learning at Camp Hill and the Townsville Northshore Retail Precinct at Burdell.
On the Gold Coast, Mitch Grimmer's team delivered the QAS Gold Coast Operations Centre at Coomera. The purpose-built facility supports Queensland Ambulance Service emergency response.
In the Gulf, Sean Lees' team delivered the new 18-bed Normanton Hospital for Queensland Health. The project has also previously received Master Builders recognition for prefabricated and modular construction at the 2026 Master Builders Queensland Far North Queensland Housing and Construction Awards.

The celebrations aren't over yet.
Two Hutchies projects will progress to the national awards on Friday 27 November:
Congratulations to everyone involved across the six winning projects. These awards recognise the hard work and commitment of our company members, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
Best of luck to Team John Berlese and Team Rob Morrison as they represent Hutchies on the national stage in November.
